Welcome to Speed2Seed! Before you apply to our accelerator programme, please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By submitting your application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
Speed2Seed is a 14-week startup accelerator programme operated by Xamun.AI ("we", "us", "Xamun", or "Speed2Seed"). We support HealthTech and FinTech founders in validating their ideas and building their Version 1 products through systematic customer discovery and access to technical execution resources.
Our mission is to provide a founder-friendly accelerator experience that prioritises your success whilst maintaining complete respect for your equity and intellectual property.
You may apply to Speed2Seed if you:
Are at least 18 years of age
Have the legal right to work in the programme location
Are a founder or co-founder of an early-stage startup, or are prepared to establish one
Can commit to the full 14-week programme duration and mandatory attendance requirements
Have a HealthTech or FinTech concept suitable for standard web/mobile technologies (not deep-tech requiring novel algorithms or hardware)
Possess deep domain expertise (typically 3+ years of relevant industry experience)
Are willing to participate in systematic customer validation and fundraising activities
Solo founders are welcome to apply. You do not need a co-founder to participate in Speed2Seed, provided you have the bandwidth to fulfil all programme commitments independently.
No technical skills or coding experience are required. Speed2Seed is specifically designed for industry practitioners without technical backgrounds. Your expertise should be in understanding the problem deeply and validating with customers.
When you submit your application, you grant us permission to:
Review and evaluate your application materials
Contact you regarding your application status
Share your pitch deck and business information with our selection committee
If accepted, share your materials with programme mentors, investors, and partners as part of the programme activities
Use anonymised, aggregated data from applications for programme improvement and research
We reserve the right to accept or decline applications at our sole discretion. We do not guarantee that every application will receive detailed feedback, though we endeavour to communicate decisions promptly.
Speed2Seed charges no joining fees, participation fees, or programme fees of any kind. Participation in the 14-week accelerator programme is completely free of charge.
Speed2Seed takes zero equity in your company. You retain 100% ownership of your startup minus any equity you choose to grant to mentors (as described below). We do not take equity stakes, ownership positions, or revenue shares from participating startups.
Mentors in the Speed2Seed programme typically receive equity compensation for their advisory services through separate FAST (Founder/Advisor Standard Template) agreements between you and individual mentors. This is standard in the startup ecosystem.
Key points about mentor equity:
Typical mentor equity is 0.5% per mentor
Most founders work with 1-2 mentors, resulting in 0.5%-1% total mentor equity
These are separate agreements between you and your chosen mentors—Speed2Seed is not party to these agreements
You are not obligated to offer equity to any mentor
Mentors are not obligated to accept equity offers
Equity arrangements are subject to the terms of your individual FAST agreements
You retain:
100% ownership minus mentor equity (typically 99%-99.5% after mentor agreements)
Full intellectual property rights to your business, technology, and brand
All future upside and control of your company
Complete autonomy in business decisions
The Speed2Seed programme runs for 14 consecutive weeks. If accepted, you agree to:
Attend all mandatory programme sessions, workshops, and bootcamp days
Participate in Days 1-2 intensive bootcamp
Attend bi-monthly full-day in-person sessions throughout the programme
Participate in both Angel Demo Day (Week 2) and Seed Demo Day (Week 14)
Complete required customer discovery interviews and validation milestones (minimum 50 customer interviews during Weeks 1-2)
Provide honest progress updates and feedback throughout the programme
Work collaboratively with selected mentors and the Speed2Seed team
Speed2Seed requires substantial time commitment:
Weeks 1-2: 60-80 hours per week (intensive customer discovery and validation)
Weeks 3-11: 20-30 hours per week minimum
Weeks 12-14: 40-60 hours per week (fundraising preparation and Demo Days)
Whilst some founders maintain part-time employment during portions of the programme, we strongly recommend full-time commitment, particularly during Weeks 1-2 and Weeks 12-14.
You must:
Attend mandatory in-person sessions in the cohort city (initially Manila)
Be available for local customer interviews, particularly during Weeks 1-2
Participate in in-person Demo Days
Fully remote participation is not currently supported. Temporary relocation for the 14-week duration is acceptable if you can meet all attendance requirements.
All participants must adhere to Speed2Seed's Code of Conduct, which includes:
Treating all participants, mentors, investors, and partners with respect and professionalism
Communicating honestly and transparently
Collaborating constructively within the cohort
Maintaining confidentiality where appropriate
Avoiding conflicts of interest that could harm other participants or the programme
Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in removal from the programme.
During the programme, accepted founders receive complimentary access to Xamun.AI's DesignStudio for creating prototypes and validating concepts. This access includes:
Use of DesignStudio tools for prototype creation
Technical resources for validation purposes
Support during the customer discovery phase
DesignStudio access is provided free of charge during your participation in Speed2Seed and does not obligate you to use Xamun.AI services after the programme.
After securing angel funding (typically at Week 2), you are required to engage Xamun.AI's xDD (Xamun Dedicated Developer) service for building your Version 1 product. xDD is not included in the programme at no cost and represents a core component of Speed2Seed's systematic approach to technical execution.
Key points about xDD:
xDD is a separate, paid service wherein a partner development team uses the Xamun.AI platform (BuildStudio) to build your software
Engagement with xDD requires a separate commercial agreement between you and Xamun.AI
Development fees are paid from angel funding you secure (not from personal funds or Speed2Seed)
Use of xDD is mandatory for programme participants who secure funding—this ensures technical de-risking and systematic execution
Specific terms, pricing, deliverables, and timelines will be outlined in your separate xDD services agreement
If you do not secure angel funding at Week 2, alternative arrangements may be discussed with programme directors
Regardless of whether you use DesignStudio or xDD services:
You retain 100% ownership of all intellectual property created
All software, code, designs, and business assets belong entirely to you
Xamun.AI does not retain any rights, licences, or claims to your IP
Your code is portable and not subject to platform lock-in
Mentors are not assigned to startups by Speed2Seed. On Day 2 of the programme, after meeting all available mentors, you will select your mentor(s) based on mutual interest and fit.
The selection process ensures:
Founder choice and autonomy in mentor relationships
Mutual compatibility and alignment
Good working relationships based on shared goals
Selected mentors provide guidance on:
Customer discovery and validation methodologies
Product-market fit development
Early sales and business development
Strategic decision-making
Fundraising preparation
Mentors typically receive equity through separate FAST agreements (as described in Section 3.3). These arrangements are entirely between you and individual mentors—Speed2Seed is not party to these agreements and does not manage or enforce them.
You are not obligated to offer equity to any mentor
Mentors are not obligated to accept equity offers
Mentor equity (typically 0.5% per mentor) is subject to FAST agreement vesting terms
Mentors' equity remains intact after Week 14 regardless of ongoing involvement
You may establish separate advisory arrangements after the programme concludes
If your relationship with a mentor is not working well:
We encourage open communication early
Both parties may end the arrangement by mutual agreement
Equity is prorated based on time completed per your FAST agreement terms
The Speed2Seed team will help you find alternative support where possible
Speed2Seed facilitates two Demo Days:
Angel Demo Day (Week 2): Pre-seed funding opportunities, typical range $50K-$200K
Seed Demo Day (Week 14): Seed funding opportunities, typical range $500K-$3M
Whilst Speed2Seed facilitates introductions to angel investors and venture capital firms:
We do not guarantee any investment outcomes
All investment decisions are made independently by investors based on their own criteria
Investment terms are negotiated directly between you and investors
Speed2Seed is not responsible for investment outcomes or the success of fundraising efforts
Historically, 70-85% of Speed2Seed participants successfully raise angel funding at Week 2, but past performance does not guarantee future results.
If you do not secure angel funding at Week 2, you have several options:
Self-fund development: Pay xDD fees directly if you have personal capital
Alternative angel sources: Continue pitching to angels outside the programme network
Adjust scope: Build a smaller Version 1 within budget constraints
Pause and fundraise: Take additional time to secure funding before continuing development
You may continue participating in the programme using alternative funding sources. Programme directors will work with you to develop contingency plans.
Early investors (Angel Demo Day) typically receive pro-rata rights and preferential terms at Seed Demo Day. However, all investment terms are negotiated between you and your investors—Speed2Seed does not control or dictate investment terms.
You retain complete ownership of all intellectual property, including:
Your business idea, concepts, and strategy
All software, code, and technology developed (whether built using Xamun.AI platforms or other means)
Your brand, trademarks, logos, and marketing materials
All customer relationships, data, and business assets
Any work, content, or materials you create during the programme
By participating in the programme, you grant Speed2Seed a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:
Use your company name and logo in promotional materials, case studies, and programme marketing
Display your founder name, photo/headshot, and profile on the Speed2Seed website
List your startup in cohort rosters and programme directories (e.g., "Manila HealthTech Cohort 1")
Reference your participation in Speed2Seed in public communications
Feature your success stories (with your permission) in testimonials and programme documentation
Include your startup in programme reports and impact assessments
You may revoke these limited licences by providing written notice, though historical uses will remain.
Whilst we treat sensitive business information with care:
Programme sessions involve other founders, mentors, and partners
Demo Days are open to investors and programme partners
The collaborative accelerator environment does not guarantee absolute confidentiality
You should avoid sharing information you are not comfortable having others in the programme ecosystem know
We recommend that you:
Use appropriate NDAs when sharing highly sensitive information with specific parties
Exercise discretion about what proprietary information you disclose in group settings
Protect trade secrets and confidential data appropriately
Weeks 1-2 focus on systematic customer validation designed to test whether your problem is worth solving. Non-validation during this phase is considered a success, not a failure, as it prevents wasting months building the wrong solution.
If customer interviews and validation activities indicate your problem does not warrant a venture-scale solution:
Pivot: You may use the remaining programme time to test a different problem within the same domain
Graceful exit: You may exit the programme having learned valuable insights before significant time and capital investment
Evidence of non-validation may include:
Fewer than 30% of interviewees confirming problem severity
Absence of early evangelists willing to commit to a solution
Existing workarounds that are "good enough" for the target market
Lack of willingness to pay for a solution
Most founders do successfully validate their concepts (hence the 70-85% angel funding success rate). If you pivot or discover fundamental issues, programme directors will work with you to determine the best path forward.

You retain all intellectual property ownership
Any equity arrangements already established with mentors remain subject to FAST agreement terms
You may not reapply to future Speed2Seed cohorts
These provisions exist to protect the integrity of the programme and the interests of all participants. Removal decisions are made at Speed2Seed's sole discretion and are final.
